I have currently undertaken the dubious project of restoring my dads 1970’s Raleigh Grand Prix. Currently there are no wheels, tires, handlebars, or brakes. My mission, to fix up the bike for under $40. I will update you periodically on my progress.
Good Luck…. I think you are hardpressed to get that frame going for under 40 dollars… You may however find great bikes for that price though…
I just got of my 1963 Schwinn Hornet that I picked up for $40 and after giving it an afternoon of loving care it is a champ.
